Jill Lorean & S. Antigone - Second City Static 003
£2.00 - £9.99

SCS003 features contributions from Jill Lorean (BDY_PRTS, Sparrow & the Workshop) & S. Antigone (Hairband, Breakfast Muff).

Jill Lorean’s ‘The Book’ evolved from a Brian Eno-inspired a two-chord riff, eventually expanding into the song featured here. Kraut, Noise, Fuzz - all the goodness of an off the cuff on the edge moment. Record & Produced by Andy Monaghan at 312 Studios. Mastered by Samuel J. Smith.

S. Antigone’s track ‘Sweethearthood’ is folk tinged indie-pop with an ethereal yet fragile vocal reminiscent of Sandy Denny or Karen Dalton. Recorded by Ronan Fay at Green Door Studio. Mixed by Loup Havenith. Mastered by Samuel J. Smith.

Sleeve Art & Centre Label Logo by Russel Elder.

This is a limited pressing of 250 7" singles, of which 125 have been made available for general sale.

Second City Static is a collaborative project between two Glasgow based DIY labels; Errol's Hot Wax & Watts Of Goodwill.

The loose plan is an irregular series of not for profit live shows at The Old Hairdresser's showcasing two artists, with a split 7” single & download card included in the price of the ticket.

Following the gigs, a limited number of singles will be available online via Bandcamp, Discogs, Errol's Hot Wax (errolshotwax.com) & Monorail Music (monorailmusic.com).
