Château de lait is a collaborative project from Colin 'Spicey' Stewart (Gummy Stumps, Flo & Spicey), Jérôme Buchaca (La Station Radar) & Benoit Hecquet (DJ Ear Wax).
The album was primarily written on synth and guitar with occasional vocal samples, drawing influence from post-punk and dub to create a unique blend of rhythmic soundscapes and infectious outsider pop.
Home recorded in Glasgow and Marseille between 2018 and 2022. Originally released on a short run of cassettes and CDs by La Station Radar 2024.
This 2026 edition benefits from additional instrumentation, mixing, & mastering and features new artwork from Fleur d. The vinyl LP includes the poetry broadside ‘The Chateau’ by Colin Stewart.
